The Tribe ( WIP)
An intimate journey into the heart of the Huaorani.
Deep in the Ecuadorian rainforest, I lived among a tribe whose time moves differently — not by clocks, but by river flow, bird song, and ancestral memory.
"The Tribe" is a visual journal of that time: a series of documentary portraits capturing not just faces, but rituals, textures, silence, and survival.
Each image is a witness — to a way of living that resists forgetting, to wisdom held in gesture, in body, in earth-stained skin and feathered crowns.
This is not just a photographic series.
It is a quiet homage to those who live in rhythm with the land — and a reminder of how much we lose when we stop listening.
As food and fuel grew scarce, the streets filled with voices, fire, and defiance. This visual chronicle captures the unrest, resilience, and raw emotion of a country pushed to its limits. June 2022
